Questions and answers: check the file label
Five filenames identify questions and answers. The IRE filename explicitly says “no answers”. The IRE subject page provides separate original practice with answers, but those responses are not answers to the downloadable PDF.
Short practice with adult support
Across these subject pages, there are 18 original practice activities with expandable answers and adult support prompts. The activities use simple spoken sentences, counting, familiar objects, greetings and everyday observations. A parent or teacher can read a question aloud and help the child show an answer by speaking, pointing, drawing or counting.
- Choose a topic already taught. Match the activity to classroom work and explain unfamiliar words before starting.
- Allow a first attempt. Give enough time for an oral answer, drawing, count or written response as appropriate.
- Review one idea. Open the answer, discuss the reasoning and try a related example. These are short revision activities rather than full examinations.
Frequently asked questions
Does each PDF have a subject SEO page?
Yes. Every listed filename links to its subject page. Grade 2’s two Mathematics files share one subject page.
Do all PDFs include answers?
No. Use the file labels above and the subject-page explanation. Answers to the original practice activities are separate from the PDFs and must not be treated as a PDF marking scheme.
