Downloads require an active membership. PDF files can be read or printed; DOCX files need a compatible word processor.
Add fractions with a common denominator
Illustrative practice: Find 2/3 + 1/6 and explain the conversion.
Worked explanation: Write 2/3 as 4/6. Then 4/6 + 1/6 = 5/6. The denominator describes the size of each equal part and stays 6 when the numerators are added. Adding both denominators would change the meaning of the fractions. Check the answer against a simple fraction drawing.
This is an additional example written for this page. It is not quoted from the downloadable booklets or presented as an official marking scheme.
A focused Grade 7 revision routine
- Choose a taught topic. Match the booklet contents to your classroom work and identify the skill you want to practise.
- Attempt a short set independently. Read the command word and show the requested working, evidence or explanation before checking answers.
- Record the cause of an error. Separate a missing fact from a misunderstood instruction or an incorrect method. Write a correction that explains why the improved answer works.
- Try again later. Use a fresh question on the same idea and check whether you can explain the answer without copying the model.
Choosing and matching the files
The filenames above identify combined question-and-answer booklets or separately available answers. Match the question numbers and resource title before using an answer file. Keep the original filename when saving a personal copy so you can identify the resource again. Some collections retain earlier subject labels; check the actual contents against the learning area and topic currently taught.
Questions about Grade 7 Mathematics revision
How do I find the right file?
Open the member download page and go to the Mathematics section. Select the exact filename above and check the question numbering before using an answer file.
Are answers available?
The listing includes an answer file or a combined questions-and-answers booklet. Use the filename to distinguish it from a question-only resource. A question booklet in Word format is not automatically a marking scheme.
Can I use every exercise for my current class topic?
Check the contents against the material taught by your teacher. The listing preserves the original resource labels and does not certify that each booklet covers every current curriculum outcome.
