1. Forms of giving

Question: Distinguish zakat from voluntary sadaqah in a basic classroom explanation.

Show answer and explanation

Zakat is a prescribed form of giving subject to its conditions, while sadaqah commonly refers to voluntary charity. This question checks the distinction; calculations and individual obligations should follow the teacher’s specified guidance.

2. Trust

Question: A learner is asked to keep class materials safe. How can the learner show amanah?

Show answer and explanation

Use the materials only as permitted, keep them safely and return or account for them honestly. Amanah concerns trust and responsibility. A useful answer connects the term to the actual duty entrusted to the learner.

3. Respectful speech

Question: What should a learner do when a conversation starts mocking an absent classmate?

Show answer and explanation

Avoid joining the mockery and encourage a respectful change of topic. If serious harm is involved, seek suitable adult support. The response should reduce harm without spreading the insulting comments further.

4. Self-control in practice

Question: Give an example of controlling anger during a disagreement.

Show answer and explanation

Pause, speak calmly and explain the concern without insults or threats. Self-control concerns actions and words, not simply remaining silent while planning retaliation. An answer should identify a practical response.

5. Consultation

Question: Why can listening to others help a group make a responsible decision?

Show answer and explanation

Others may have relevant needs, information or ideas. Consultation can improve understanding before the group agrees on an action. Listening does not mean accepting every suggestion; explain the final choice using fair reasons.

How to review your IRE answers

  1. Read the instruction. Identify whether you need to name, explain, compare, calculate or give an example. Answer the task that was actually set.
  2. Make your reasoning visible. Show working for a calculation or give the detail that supports a written answer. A correct result without understanding is difficult to apply to a new question.
  3. Correct one difficulty. Record the error and explain the change needed. Try a similar example later without copying the worked answer.

Teachers and parents can use a short set to start a discussion, identify a misunderstanding and select a follow-up task. These activities provide focused practice; they do not certify coverage of every curriculum outcome or replace classroom teaching.
