1. A respectful greeting

Question: How can a learner respond respectfully when greeted with Assalamu alaikum?

Show answer and explanation

A customary response is Wa alaikum assalam. Practise a respectful tone as well as the words. The exercise checks an everyday greeting, rather than asking for a long explanation of unrelated practices.

2. Honesty

Question: A shopkeeper gives a learner too much change. What honest action can the learner take?

Show answer and explanation

Point out the extra money and return it. Explain that the money does not belong to the learner. Honesty applies even when the mistake would be easy to hide.

3. Helping another person

Question: Give an example of helping a neighbour without expecting a reward.

Show answer and explanation

Help carry a manageable item when it is safe and permission has been given. The answer should describe a helpful action and show consideration for the other person, without putting a child in an unsafe situation.

How to review your IRE answers

  1. Read the instruction. Identify whether you need to name, explain, compare, calculate or give an example. Answer the task that was actually set.
  2. Make your reasoning visible. Show working for a calculation or give the detail that supports a written answer. A correct result without understanding is difficult to apply to a new question.
  3. Correct one difficulty. Record the error and explain the change needed. Try a similar example later without copying the worked answer.

Teachers and parents can use a short set to start a discussion, identify a misunderstanding and select a follow-up task. These activities provide focused practice; they do not certify coverage of every curriculum outcome or replace classroom teaching.
