How to revise English by topic

Start with one topic already covered in class. Read the question carefully, note the command word and answer independently before consulting any answer booklet. Keep a correction record with the question number, your original difficulty and the reasoning needed for a better response. Return to the question later without looking at the correction.

Support comprehension answers with evidence

Illustrative practice task: A passage says: “Amina rehearsed her speech twice, then folded her notes with shaking hands.” What suggests that she is nervous?

Reasoning: Her shaking hands provide direct evidence of nervousness. Rehearsal alone does not prove fear. Quote or paraphrase the relevant detail, then explain the inference in a full sentence. For language questions, identify the requested form and check how it functions in the whole sentence.
